Octa's Dunedin Office is located on the 3rd floor of the Old National Bank Building on Princes Street. In March 1999 the Old National Bank Building was put up for tender and Octa took the opportunity to demonstrate how a once-proud commercial building can be restored to modern office spaces. Over a five year period Octa completed the restoration and when entering an international award, became the proud joint winners of the RICS Awards for Building Conservation which was held in London in 2006. This was the first award in this category in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Dunedin office has an experienced team available to successfully plan and deliver a wide range of projects. The office currently has seven project managers and two support staff who undertake work over the lower half of the South Island and provide support to our Queenstown Office.
Our professional staff are qualified and experienced in project management, with many holding tertiary degrees in Engineering, Health and Safety and/or Construction. We therefore have a depth of resource that is second to none and an ability to provide skilled and experienced project managers to meet the needs of any project, regardless of size or complexity.
We have expertise, along with industry recognised qualifications such as Prince2 and PMP, in working throughout the region, and have an excellent knowledge and understanding of local design and construction industry resources and capabilities gained over our 40+ year work history.
