The Manawatū Community Hub Library opened its doors to the public on 22nd of July 2024. Octa was engaged to provide full project management and Engineer to the Contract services for the Manawatu District Library Seismic Strengthening and Fit-out project. With a rating of only 40% NBS, Manawatu District Council decided to combine a seismic upgrade with a fit-out and footprint extension to include a new café and venue hosting space that can be used as back up council chambers.
