Octa Project managed the design and build of National Motorsport Museum, within the newly created 4.5km international standard motorsport racetrack.
- 2,000m2 Architecturally designed complex comprising of vehicle display areas, car prep workshop, members lounge, café, control room and amenities.
- Construction consisted of concrete block retaining walls and polished concrete floor slabs, incorporating underfloor heating throughout.
- Building shell incorporated a number of materials such as honed concrete blocks, cedar weatherboards, textured and coloured precast panels, danpalon, ali-clad and profiled insulated roof cladding.
- The main structure was formed using clearspan structural steel over the main display areas.
- A mezzanine floor area provides an elevated view of the vehicles on display as well as providing the “hall of fame” displays of motor sport greats.
- First of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
