Octa has been engaged to assist with managing the construction of the New East Wing Building. The building has been designed to a ‘5 Green star”-design rating.
The new building will be five levels and provide space and new equipment for acute clinic services including a new Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Maternity, primary birthing, Neonatal, Radiology, Laboratory, and a roof-top helipad. The new radiology department will be the most advanced in Australasia and with the new rooftop helipad the building will create better accessibility to services and the most up to date equipment for care.
