Octa was engaged in June 2024 to Project Manage the construction of a new modern Debarker line at Port Marlborough in Picton. The project covered the design, fabrication, delivery and installation of a mechanical plant. Octa’s role included the co-ordination of two separate contracts for two main contractors (mechanical and electrical), as well as the co-ordination between various civil subcontractors engaged by the Port Marlborough. It also included coordination with C3 yard management where the Debarker is located.
