Ray has a civil engineering background from working on nuclear power stations in the UK. He was Construction Manager for two major contracting companies in NZ before joining Octa Associates in 1992. He has project managed the design and construction of a number of high profile award winning commercial projects both in New Zealand and overseas.
Ray also specialises in airport development, working with Air New Zealand and various airport companies on their long term strategic planning. He has provided expert review and advice for complex legal cases and has a comprehensive knowledge of contract law, mediation and the design planning and procurement processes for major projects.
Ray’s strengths are his long term strategic thinking and the ability to build strong project teams that produce the best outcomes for clients.
