Christchurch
Octa was founded in Christchurch in 1973, and the Christchurch office at 71 Cambridge Terrace remains our largest with 20 professional staff. All are tertiary qualified and most hold project management qualifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2. The office provides project management services for the Canterbury region and through to Marlborough, Nelson and the West Coast.
While many of the current projects have come as a result of the Canterbury Earthquake rebuild, we have continued to work on business-as-usual projects. Clients come from all industry sectors and include:
- Central government - Ministry of Health, Department of Education, Department of Corrections, Ōtākāro Limited’ formerly CERA
- Local government - Christchurch City Council, Timaru District Council
- Industrial - Canterbury Meat Packers, Silver Fern Farms, Goldpine
- Commercial - Science Alive, Mighty River Power, Jiajiayue Group, KiwiRail, University of Canterbury and Oxford Supermarket.
